Our Newest Forum: Breaking Research And Science News
By Tom Venuto
Saturday, Sep 01, 2007 11:38
We've received a lot of positive feedback about our Science And Research">science and research department which we just added recently.

However, since our science and research column will focus on full write ups, which are more time consuming, we wanted a forum to post up to the minute, breaking new research straight from scientific journals in exercise physiology, metabolism, endocrinology, nutrition, and even sports and weight loss psychology and behavior.

Many people want to stay plugged in and feel the need to know "what's new." This is important because science is an ever-unfolding, and continually self-correcting discipline. Since my book Burn The Fat was published in 2003 and is due for an update, and with new research coming out all the time, I am often asked if I still feel the same way about certain topics today as I did several years ago. In some cases, the answer is no.

I will do my absolute best to scour the journals for you and post quick "sound byte" summaries and or abstracts for you here. Note: we will NOT post or allow to be posted news media stories in this forum, only peer-reviewed research.

I subscribe to about 8 or 9 of the peer-reviewed scientific journals in print and receive numerous email alerts, so when something new comes in that is relevant to your fat burning and muscle gaining success, I will let you know about it right here:

http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com/members/forum/openforum.cfm?forum=30

Eat right, train hard and expect success,

Tom Venuto August 31st, 2007

PS This will also be the best forum in which to discuss our full science and research review columns in the future.

PPS. Although we do NOT encourage double posting across more than one forum, if a subject is relevant, such as a new supplement finding, I may post the brand new study results here, and add them to an existing thread in the supplement forum, etc.

"Mind & Motivation": An Important New Department At The Burn The Fat Inner Circle
By By Tom Venuto
Wednesday, Apr 25, 2007 10:07
Kyle and I have been REAL busy lately, working behind the scenes to make some exciting new improvements to the Burn The Fat Inner Circle.

Just last week we added a completely new science and research department, and today we created a new department category called "Mind & Motivation."

http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com/public/department97.cfm

Dennis Deaton, in "The Book On Mind Management" said on the very first page of the book...

"IT ALL BEGINS IN THE MIND."

He continued,

"Human behavior is the effect. Human thought is the cause. Whatever you do first, you do first in your mind. Your mind, the ultimate source of all your actions and reactions, orchestrates every deed, performs every act, authors every word."

Then Deaton uttered what he called, 'THE CONSUMMATE TRUTH OF LIFE"...

"We think, and with those thoughts, we create."

With the wild popularity of the movie, THE SECRET, more people than ever before have become keenly aware of the power of our minds and thoughts to literally create our bodies and our lives.

THE MIND, has been an important component of the Burn The Fat program since it's creation in 2002, and has been a topic I have studied at length for nearly 20 years.

It's with this knowledge of the importance of mind power that we will continue to explore this frontier in even greater depth here in the Inner Circle both in our discussion forums (see goals & Motivation forum) as well as in this new department.:

http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com/public/department97.cfm

master the mind... and you master your body and your life

Train hard and expect success,

Tom Venuto

FREE Preview of The Burn The Fat Inner Circle, Just Added!
By Tom venuto
Sunday, Apr 22, 2007 11:41
Great News for both non members and members alike!

We've just added an Inner Circle FREE Preview.

If you're not a member yet, and you're thinking about joining, wouldn't it be great if you had a chance to peek into the Inner Circle and see what's inside before you make a decision about joining?

We thought so, and we've set up a new section with a FREE CONTENT PREVIEW, which includes FREE samples from almost every department:

Recipes Articles Nutrition Q & A Training Q & A Interviews Success Stories

These are not "teasers", they are the full length articles or features just as they appear inside the members-only area.

If you're already a member, you can forward this link to any of your friends when you tell them about the Inner Circle site, and let them know they can sample some of the information through our new FREE Preview!

Here's the link http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com/public/department2.cfm

Enjoy the "Sneak Peek!"

New Science & Research Dept Added To Burn The Fat Inner Circle
By Tom Venuto
Wednesday, Apr 18, 2007 06:30
For all the scientifically minded folks who want to know why something works, not just what works, we have just added a brand new department to the Burn The Fat Inner Circle: Science And Research.

The main department page is here: http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com/public/department96.cfm

our first review is a very interesting one about extremely low carb diets (ketogenic diets like Atkins) versus moderately low carb diets (like The Zone) http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com/members/296.cfm

What you'll find in each column is the abstract of the study, a discussion by myself (Tom Venuto) or another member of the Burn The Fat Inner Circle Team of experts and a quick punch list of take home points so you can turn research into practice.

Hope you enjoy it

Ultimate Body Makeover Teleseminar Series!
By Tom Venuto
Thursday, Jan 11, 2007 07:26
Hello all,

Below you will find the details about Scott Colby's upcoming 2007 Ultimate Body Makeover Teleseminar. Just a few important points as they concern Inner Circle members

I have obtained permission/rights to post my interview here in the Inner Circle, so you will all have access to download that as an MP3 in the near future.

The teleseminar is free if you sign up and join the call live.

I do NOT have the date yet when I will be speaking, but I know Im not scheduled for the first few weeks, so my presentation wont be until at least mid February or later.

Scott will be putting the rest of the interviews and transcripts for sale, but please note: You do not have to buy them. He will offer them to you for sale, but the live teleseminar is free, and again, I have obtained the rights to the MP3 recording of my teleseminar for Inner Circle members.

(kyle battis will also be on one of the calls)

You'll find details below as I mailed to the public burn the fat newsletter list earlier today. If you have any questions, post in this thread or you can post on the public blog www.burnthefatblog.com

BURN THE FAT Fat Burning Tips Newsletter Brought to you by www.burnthefat.com

Fat Burning Tips E-zine January 11th, 2007

I'll be sending you the next edition of Fat Burning Tips newsletter on friday, but I wanted to take a minute to let you know about Scott Colby's teleseminar that starts January 16th... I dont think you'll want to miss this one...

especially since he gave me permission to invite you to listen for fr e e!

I don't participate in very many teleseminars, but when Scott told me the list of names of the other 11 speakers, I was downright flattered that he asked me to be on the roster.

Scott has spent quite a few months lining this up. the speakers include

* Dr. John Berardi, author of metabolism advantage and precision nutrition
* Craig Ballantyne, author of turbulence training
* Alwyn cosgrove, Author of Afterburn & the new rules of lifting
* David Grisaffi, author of Firm & Flatten Your Abs
* Kyle Battis, Author of home gym secrets
* Jon Benson, Author of Fit Over 40

and there are 6 other elite fitness experts - including me - who will be sharing their best success strategies to help you reach your best body in 2007...

With all of us put together , there are sure to be many tips YOU can use, regardless of your age or gender and whatever your goals are for this new year ahead.

My presentation will be on what I know best and what I do best:

How to reach super-low body fat using methods of bodybuilders and fitness models.

In this teleseminar, I will be concentrating on how to go from average or already lean to Super-lean... down to the level of a figure competitor or bodybuilder, if thats what you want...

Or if you prefer, the "Brad Pitt in fight club" type of look (or the female equivalent, ahem, I didnt forget about you ladies...)

It can REALLY be a different game going from overweight to average and going from average to "ripped" or "super lean."

Your body just does NOT like having mega low body fat... actually if you think about it, its not good for humans from an "evolutionary survival" point of view. the thing is, having the "six pack abs" look is totally dependent on having VERY low body fat levels.

But the more you cut, the more your body just fights with the "starvation response." It's frustrating...

But.... there ARE many tricks of the trade to bypass the plateaus or break a plateau if you hit one. And if you take one look at bodybuilders or figure competitors, you know these tricks work!

Anyway, let me tell you how this thing is going to work so you wont yell at me or miss out on anything later, (or just jump straight to this site for details: http://tinyurl.com/yh2sy3)

I was very surprised when scott said he was allowing f r ee registration for the subscribers/customers of his seminar speakers. Since i'm one of the 12 speakers, Ive been given permission to give you an invite to get on the calls at no char ge.

One thing you should know is that Scott IS putting up the recordings and transcripts for sale . There is only one way to get the fr ee registration and that's if you sign up to listen in on the teleseminars LIVE...

Keep in mind, this is a "TELE-seminar" which means it is on the phone, so you dont have to go anywhere, all you need is a phone line to dial in on.

I dont have the dates yet of who will be speaking when, (not even my own tele-seminar date), but you can enroll at the website below to get on the announcement list, watch for the times and dates when they're confirmed, and get on the calls live... fre e!

But thats your only chance. If you miss the live calls, you canNOT get the recordings for f r e e. The recordings will be for sale, however and you can purchase a copy of them before the calls start at a discount rate, or any time after the calls at the regular rate

But let me repeat - there is nothing you have to buy - you can get on the calls LIVE and you can listen to the live teleseminars for F R E E. Good deal eh?

You're welcome :-) Actually, thank Scott Colby, he arranged it and I thought it was really very generous of him not to make the entire thing on a paid-basis A to Z, but, his decision is your gain!

Heres the webpage where you can get more details and get on the announcement list.

http://tinyurl.com/yh2sy3

Hope to "see" you there!

Tom Venuto, NSCA-CPT, CSCS Author, Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle http://www.burnthefat.com http://www.burnthefatinnercircle.com

PS im not sure my teleseminar date, but they'll be running over a 12 week period and I know they'll be at night - 8 Pm EST and the first one is going to be within the next week or two, so be sure to reserve a spot right away because Im not sure how many lines he has available

http://tinyurl.com/yh2sy3

PPS if you have any questions, PLEASE post them on the blog so I can answer just one time for the benefit of everyone. I get thousands of emails every week, many the same questions... thanks

http://www.burnthefat.com/blog

PPPS VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE NOTE: this is a F-R-E-E tele-seminar!!!! A couple of people sent me emails or posted on my blog, "flaming" me, because they thought i was "pulling a fast one" by telling people it was f-r-e-e and then scott was charging for it.

IT *IS* F-R_E_E!

Scott is selling the MP3 recordings and transcripts, plus some bonus reports, but you can get on the live calls at no cha rge!!

PPPPS. Did I mention its F_R_E_E? Alrighty then.. Just making sure :-)

 TESTIMONIALS

Here's what people are saying about Burn The Fat and the Inner Circle...

"Tom Venuto is a credible, qualified professional who knows his stuff. More than that, he has a genuine concern for the people he's helping. His "Inner Circle" is a premier quality resource - well worth the money, and a benefit to anyone, anywhere, of any age who is trying to lose weight. I highly recommend it!"

Paul Crane, UltimateFatBurner.com

"I just listened to the first "Burn the Fat Show" and this one 20-minute message is at the top of my list. I have motivational CD's and books coming out the wazoo and you've set a standard in your show that I look forward to listening to again and again. Keep up the GREAT work!"."

Steve Wiebusch

The support here is incredible for my morale. I'm excited about the inches I've lost. In the past when I'd get halfway there, I'd lose motivation and quit. I've never made it this far and still felt motivated to keep going. "

Rikki Fougere

"I have many people everyday ask me what my secret is and how I lost 137 pounds. I tell them the same thing - I use Tom Venuto's Burn The Fat - Feed The Muscle program and it all boils down to "How bad do you want it?"
Mike Ogorek

"I've been following the Burn The Fat recommendations and I now fit into a pair of jeans that I havent worn in a long time. The Salvation Army must love me these days, as I've liberated 12 clothes hangers and two shelves of oversized clothes since New Years!"
Sarah Cecile
