Fit Bit Charge Pedometer Review
Over the past few months, this little device has become my best friend. It measures your steps, heart rate, floors climbed, distance walked/run, and calorie expenditure. The calorie expenditure is based on: heart rate, weight, height and age. In summary, this is a fantastic little piece of technology. The web interface is intuitive and robustly informative. It has proved to be an essential weapon in my fat loss war...

Peak performance principle #1: Measure everything you want to improve. Why? Because it gives you progress feedback and creates accountability. If you want to improve your body composition and reduce body fat, then measure and track body composition and body fat. But how do you do it without expensive high tech DEXA scans or hydrostatic weighing? The answer is skinfold testing, and today's post will show you how it's done and what equipment you need...
Jawbone UP24 Fitness Band (Product Review)
When Tom asked me to review the wearable Jawbone UP24 fitness tracker, I was thinking I would give it about a 6/10, based on owning three of them. But two hours of actually playing with all the device's functions I had never used before lead me to consider a different score. What made me change my rating when my full analysis was finished? Read on to find out...
Fit Bit One Pedometer Review
"Sitting too much could kill you!" Which is why I have recently become a big fan of one of the best pedometers on the market -- the FitBit. It's true, if you sit on your butt too much (low step count), you are more likely to get fat, sick and (according to the latest research), die younger. If you are physically active (high step count), you are more likely to get leaner, healthier and live longer. The FitBit not only counts steps taken, it also measures elevation (for hikers of apartment dwellers) and calories burned, and works well on treadmills and bikes. I have one...and love it. Hand-to-Foot Body Fat Scales: Are They Worth Their Weight? (Product Review)
There are no perfect methods for measuring how much body fat you have - all body fat tests have pros and cons. Body fat testing scales using bioelectric impedance (BIA) technology are popular, but do they really work? Inner Circle member Robb Ryniak has lost over 241 pounds of fat. In this review he shares his experiences and his in depth critique of the newest generation of fat testing scales - the hand to foot bio-electrical impedance device. Click here to read it...
Pedometer OMRON HJ-720ITC (Product Review)
A pedometer is a step counter. Why would you want to count the number of steps you take in a day? Well, as we know from BFFM, burning fat is all about creating a calorie deficit. The only way to create a calorie deficit is to burn more calories than you consume. Walking more is one way to increase the number of calories you burn each day. It has been said that we only improve what we actually measure. So, if we measure how much we walk, we can then set goals to increase the number of steps we take each day. Every step burns more calories and helps us towards our fat burning goals.
Body Bugg (Product Review)
The bodybugg is an electronic device which calculates how many calories you burn every day. The device works by using an accelerometer and by measuring heat flux, skin temperature and galvanic skin response. According to literature on the bodybugg website and product manual, they claim to be accurate to within 10% of actual caloric expenditure. But what do users think? NASM-certified personal trainer and Inner Circle member Michael Bogosian gives you an honest, unbiased review after using this device for 4 months as part of the plan that helped him burn off 30 pounds of fat!

lost 200 lbs
"I just listened to the first "Burn the Fat Show" and this one 20-minute message is at the top of my list. I have motivational CD's and books coming out the wazoo and you've set a standard in your show that I look forward to listening to again and again. Keep up the GREAT work!"."
The support here is incredible for my morale. I'm excited about the inches I've lost. In the past when I'd get halfway there, I'd lose motivation and quit. I've never made it this far and still felt motivated to keep going. "
"I have many people everyday ask me what my secret is and how I lost 137 pounds. I tell them the same thing - I use Tom Venuto's Burn The Fat - Feed The Muscle program and it all boils down to "How bad do you want it?"
"I've been following the Burn The Fat recommendations and I now fit into a pair of jeans that I havent worn in a long time. The Salvation Army must love me these days, as I've liberated 12 clothes hangers and two shelves of oversized clothes since New Years!"
